hi,
I posted before, but I can't resolve the problem on my own, so i try again.
The newly installed Panda free antivirus software apparently does not go together with my mobile internet device, because when I use it, my laptop keeps crashing, giving me this error info: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
I tried to make a full dump as you adviced, and I followed all the stept, but after the crash there is no file called MEMORY in C:\windows. I tried several times. What could I do to get help with this problem? The only file in the Windows folder created at the time of the crash is called 'PFRO.log'. I guess it is not the one you want, right?
Thanks for helping me,
Clara

Re: error and making a dump
Hi
This is a known issue and it will be solved in the next product version we expect to release in April and we are also developing a hotfix to correct the issue
In the meantime, you can rename C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\NNSPrv.sys and reboot

Re: error and making a dump
I forgot to mention that you need rebooting into safe mode to be able to rename it
Once you have rebooted into safe mode access C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\, right click NNSPrv.sys file and select Change Name
Name it as NNSPrv.sys_ for example and reboot normally
Depending on your operating system, the way to access Windows safe mode is different

Re: error and making a dump
Hi Jorge,
thanks for your help, sorry to bother you again:
Windows does not allow me to change the name of the file!
It says I need permission form SYSTEM.
I tried to change the permission, and gave myself as a user permission), but it still does not allow me.
Do you know the trick?
best,
Klaartje
