BSOD caused by nnshttps.sys
My Windows 10 laptop crashes to blue screen regularly when I'm connected to a certain public library wifi network. According to the error message it is caused by nnshttps.sys. I have Panda Antivirus Pro 17.0.1. I tried following advice from earlier posts but this did not help. I have reinstalled Panda Antivirus. I have disabled the "Monitor the URL's accessed by each process" option. I still experienced a BSOD when at the library this afternoon. The posted hotfix from 2015 doesn't work with this version of the antivirus, and I can't alter the .sys file without "permission from administrators". This last I think is odd as this is my personal laptop and I should not need permission to alter files while logged in as admin. My subscription expires in 3 weeks and at the moment I am tempted to not renew as I can't use my laptop with the antivirus on a public wifi. Which is a shame as I like the product overall.

Re: BSOD caused by nnshttps.sys
Can you check if the Wifi adapter controller is updated to the latest version?
You should be able to check that at the Wifi adapter vendor's site

Re: BSOD caused by nnshttps.sys
HI,
I'm having a similar problem, I get an BSOD when I visit a specific website( www. proximus.be) it's my provider. They claim that there's nothing wrong with there website.
I get the following message in the BSOD; STOPCODE PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA
FAILED NNSHTTPS.SYS I've been on google for hours now, checking everything I could find regarding this, from checking my memory, even changed it, to deleting and updating hardware drivers, everything google has found for me regarding this issue I've tried. Until I got the smart idea to google NNSHTTPS.SYS and came straight here .

Exact the same issue, only when visiting - Proximus.be - site. BSOD and NNSHttpS.sys . Two acer laptops, both windows 10, one with latest "windows makers" update , the other one without update, both Panda. On first laptop Panda removed, problem gone . Panda reinstalled, problem back !!
Proximus helpdesk no problems reported, so I hope Panda can bring a solution ?

Re: BSOD caused by nnshttps.sys
I has two crashes with blue screen caused by NNSHTTPS.sys while trying to connect to www.proximus.be. I am using Windows 10 and I am connected to the Internet by cable (not wifi).
I don't understand what need to be done from what I read on the forum. I hope Panda can help top solve the issue, as this seems to be a file used be Panda. It seems also that many other Panda users have a similar problem.

I solved the issue by restauring the system before the last Windows 10 update.

@ decockthys@skynet.be Same here, got a laptop, with the same problem, removed Panda, no problem, install Panda, there it is again.
@ PERDUAN Happy for you that restoring to a previous configuration worked out for you, did the same thing but didn't work out for me. I can only wonder what's going to happen to you when later on the
recent updates are installed again by Windows.
@ Panda support, I hope you can give us a solution on this. i Really like The program, but my licence runs to the end of November this year and if I can't get a solution or the guarantee this won't happen in the new version, I'm afraid I have to go shopping for a different anti virus program.

Re: BSOD caused by nnshttps.sys
Hi,
I have exactly the same issue. BSOD with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE...
I am also at provider proximus.be. I have a panda gold 17.0.1 running on a Windows 10 and connected via WiFi
I have the BSOD when I try to read specific mails and especialy mails from Proximus. What is strange, is that, for a mail, the first time I try to read it, all is OK. But it is when I click on a link from this mail or I try to re-open it after closing (BSOD), I got directly the BSOD before the mail is open.
PROXIMUS has something that cause problems.

Re: BSOD caused by nnshttps.sys
Hi,
I have Panda 2016. Same problem (BSOD, PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA on nnshttps.sys) when I go to www.proximus.be directly or when opening a mail from them.
I tried with Firefox and Chrome, both updated version; both crashed.
I tried with Wifi and Wired (Ethernet to modem): both crashed.
I tried on another Windows 10 computer (both Asus, but the other is older) with Panda 2016 (I have multiple licences) and there it works normaly.
I checked my disks and memory: no problem.
It seems I don't have that BSOD when going to other websites (hello, I'm here ), or maybe yet to be proven...
Now I wonder if the problem is caused by Panda.
Any clue is welcome.
Regards.

It seems the best thing you can do is uninstall panda and move on with something else
