How, (or why), would've my Panda Global suddenly changed to "Unprotected"? I happened to open Panda to check another setting and saw the warning when the program opened... no warning was on screen, no pop-up either, so I have no idea how long it had been like this. when I activated it again, the "warning" was showing in Panda itself, rather than a pop-up on screen.
Antivirus shouldn't have the option of being turned off, no?
How can this be prevented in the future??

There was a large X with message noting "Antivirus is not active" when the program opened...
