[SOLVED] Can't Reinstall
I attempted to uninstall and reinstall the free version of 2016 panda antivirus, but when I tried to reinstall, the install failed. I was then prompted to use FREEAV.exe to repair it. It also failed and simply told me to ask for help on the technical support forum with this file. So that's what I did.

Hello.
It seems that the problem could be related with old remains of previous installations.
Please, try using the generic uninstaller
Then, try to install the antivirus and check if the problem is gone

First, thank you for the response! I tried to use the generic uninstaller but I got the "Reboot the machine before using Generic Uninstaller." I restarted twice, but the issue persisted. I shut my system down, then tried; the issue persisted.
I then tried to follow this thread (http://support.pandasecurity.com/forum/ ... =49&t=2065). Deleted my RAVDG.tmp and RAVTC.tmp and ended any panda associated programs running in the background found through taskmanager (PSUAMain), the issue persisted. Every time I run generic uninstaller, I check and find that I have a new RAVDG.tmp file, despite deleting it before running. I tried deleting files and restarting; I tried restarting then deleting files. Nothing changes.

Try running this uninstaller

Thanks for your feedback.
We have attached a tool which should fix the problem with the generic uninstaller tool.
Unzip it, launch the .exe file and then, try launching the generic uninstaller tool again.

Running the program in uninstallfix.zip while trying to use the generic uninstaller worked! Thank you so much
