[SOLVED] Realtek RIconMan allow or block

Post by problematiqueMG »

hello,

today i got an notification to update Panda. It was the upgrade to Panda Antivirus Pro 2016. Everything went smoothly but theres one little problem.

When Panda was upgraded i got a question to allow or block an unknown program called RIconMan.exe. As i didnt recognize it i immediatly blocked it. I did some research and it seems to be connected to Realtek. In the applicationtab in Panda it says its located in c:programfiles(x86)\realtek\realtek usb 2.0 card reader. Its a bit annoying because everytime i start the computer i get a notification the program is blocked.

Is it safe to allow this?

Thanks in advance for the reply

Investigating a little bit it seems to be a component for the card reader to show an icon on the card reader drives in Windows Explorer, it is safe to run it
