[SOLVED] Annoying Renewal Popups

Post by tubelight »

I've been using Panda for just about 2 years now and my second year license is about to expire in just under a month. Since July, everyday, at least 10 times if not more do I see a popup on the bottom right of the screen asking me to "Renew Now!"

This is highly annoying. I'm on the verge of just wanting to uninstall Panda and buy some other product to avoid this daily irritation of closing multiple popups. Can you guys stop this? It is working against you. Seeing these popups does not make me want to renew. If you must annoy people with renewal messages, do it once every 15 days or let users turn the damn thing off.

You should be able to disable Panda News from the general settings

Thank you! This works! Can I ask you something? Why is it called Panda News? Renewal reminder doesn't sound like Panda News. If it was called Remind Me About License Expiry, it would have been easier to know what it does.

Thank you for the help!
