[CLOSED] Program icon reappearing on Desktop

Post by Magno » Tue, 14 Feb 2017, 17:28

A few days ago there was an automatic update of my Panda Global Protection 2016, and since then, a Panda program icon keeps appearing on my Windows 10 desktop. If I delete it, it is back again after a while. I have no other program icons on my desktop, and since I want a clean desktop this Panda icon is quite annoying. How do I get Panda to stop placing a program icon on my desktop?

Try the following
Go to start - run, type services.msc and press OO
Locate Panda services and stop them
Delete the shortcut
Start Panda services again

Is the shortcut regenerated?
