Installing Panda Anti-Virus Free on W2K

Hello All;
I am trying to help some one with an old, old VB6 program that runs on W2K. I dug out an old W2K image back and installed it on one of my laptops (same as when I was running W2K years ago). Machine boots and runs fine.
When I try to install Panda Anti-Virus Free (which supposedly works with W2K and sp4, and... this machine has sp4).
I get a pop-up error dialog titled:
Stub.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The actual error is:
The procedure entry point GetAdaptersAddresses could not be located in the dynamic link library IPHPAPI.DLL.
Does anyone know how to resolve this? (I would like to have some AV software on this machine while working on this program.)
TIA.
